School Profiles

The Alternative Education program in the Redondo Beach Unified School District, serves the Redondo Beach community.  Patricia Dreizler High School (PDHS), a continuation high school, sits atop the hill overlooking the Redondo Union High School (RUHS) baseball field to the south and the main RUHS campus to the west. The Redondo Beach Learning Academy, a community day school (CDS) houses 9th-12th graders, is located on the South Bay Adult School campus in Redondo Beach. PDHS continues to be recognized as a California Model Continuation High School. The Independent Study Program (ISP) supports grades K-12 and is the only distance learning option in the Redondo Beach Unified School District.
